I have a foreign side, which cannot help to despise and hate this France, the one displayed to the entire world, contemptuous and arrogant.
A massive strike on one of the most heavily loaded train line is something that clearly reflects the unbearable selfishness of few and the vanity of solidarity as a concept these few have the mouth filled with. How do these few expect the "poors and defenseless" they pretend to be fighting for, to transport theirselves to the remote locations they are forced to live at, when the train is packed to the limit where one being has to summon the highest amounts of energy and self-control to remain civilized and not to blow up ?
How bright and shiny a memory will tourists keep of Paris, stacking up the spoiling weather and the strike preventing them to reach to the airport, with such an insulting display of carelessness as the picture below, having a train scheduled for departure at 16.03 having not left at 16.33 ?
And still, as ones might think of profiting of the delay, they'll find themselves not even capable of getting on the train, packed as explained before.
How many hours lost while we struggle for GDP growth, how many companies weakened, how many people brought to the limit of their ability to cope, how many nervous breakdowns, how many tears, how many sighs ?
What a monumental demonstration of self-concern in a Society pretending to place Fraternity (and its little sister Solidarity) in the very center of its very core values.
Looks to me like the French Society, once known and celebrated for its Universalism, has turned its back on it without taking away the extremely important, sad and profound downside of Arrogance.
Let me out.
